Animal Portraits in Pastel by Alison Argent
I am pleased to have been invited as portrait artist to the Animal Magic Dog Club.
Specialising in creating portraits of animals in pastels from photographs, my aim is to produce not just a picture but a portrait of a particular animal, capturing their likeness and character.
From dogs to horses and cats to geese and cows, my portraits are on display in homes across the UK, and as far away as New Zealand! I have had many requests for additional commissions from satisfied customers.
If you would like me to create a wonderful portrait of your animal, I will need good, clear photographs to work from, or I can take the photographs for you.
My portraits are bespoke and take several weeks to complete – please allow three months, especially coming up to Christmas!
The guide prices include a mount, and the sizes exclude a mount:
Small – 20 x 25 cm (8 x 10 inches) – £100
Medium – 24 x 30 cm (9½ x 12 inches) – £125
Large – 30 x 40 cm (12 x 15½ inches) – £150
Very Large – 44 x 60 cm (17 x 24 inches) – £200
