Term 3 starts soon includes new Saturday Agility and Golden Oldies Club.
Hello Everyone,
Term 3 starts on the 4th of June. A lot of members have asked for a course that follows on from Foundation but includes some agility and flyball and preferably on a Saturday so we introduced a new class for this. As the club has now been going 12 years we have a lot of elderly dogs so we are also introducing a fun social club on a Friday for these dogs called the Golden Oldies Club (please see below for details of these new courses).
Click here to view the timetable giving full details of all classes, places will be allocated on receipt of your completed booking form. To book your place please click here to discuss your dog’s training needs please contact Kathy Club Secretary on [email protected] today or phone 01263 720730 and leave a message.

Obedience with agility and flyball NEW
Would you like to improve your dogs obedience but at the same time try beginners agility and flyball? Then this new Saturday course is for you. Courses are all held in a secure area indoors or outdoors depending on the weather. This course has been designed for dogs and puppies who have completed our Foundation Course but need to improve
· Concentration
· Control
· Calmness
· An introduction to agility
To come on this course your dog needs to have completed our Foundation Course or similar and not to have any behavioural problems such as aggression towards other dogs/humans or bark excessively. We can accept dogs from 6 months of age. This course is excellent for improving the bond between dog and handler.
Golden Oldies Club NEW
An aging dog’s physical and mental decline holds many challenges for their owner, especially if this is the first elderly dog in the family. But with careful management and lots of TLC a dog’s last years can be just as fulfilling and interesting as those of its puppyhood it just needs some forward planning to ensure you squeeze every drop of enjoyment out of life for both of you.
To help you do this we have created the Golden Oldies Club. This social club is for elderly dogs who can no longer do long walks, chase balls but still need stimulation and limited activity. For those in multidog households it will give quality time with your dog especially if it now has to be left behind when the rest of your pack is walked. The objective of the club is to provide a fun support network for you and your dog by providing:
· Social activities
· Demonstrations
· Talks
· Visits
· Games
· Massage
All of which will help owners and their dogs cope with the changing needs of an elderly dog. Please note this is not a training course but a social group.
