Yesterday, Ian from Sam’s Pets kindly delivered our food donation to our friends at Norfolk Strays. Without them, dogs picked up as strays in this area that remain unclaimed after seven days in the pound would be put to sleep. Instead they are transferred into the care of Norfolk Strays who find them a rescue space where they can continue their journey onto a forever home.
Sadly many of the dogs who come into their care need veterinary treatment or nursing back to good health before taking that next step and this all costs money. Norfolk Strays is ran by volunteers and funded entirely by donations and are desperate for food, treats and toys.
If anyone would like to make a donation, it can be left in the barn under the Norfolk Strays sign and we will arrange a weekly delivery.
