Don’t forget some of our favourite things to enjoy are poisonous to your dog so they must be kept out of their reach at all times.
Chocolate contains Theobromine which is toxic to dogs; even a small amount can cause problems. So keep those chocolate eggs all for yourself!
Hot cross Buns and Simnel cake contain dried fruits which can cause kidney failure.
Daffodils are poisonous to dogs if they eat the bulbs or flowers, or drink from a vase containing daffs. So if your dog likes to dig and chew, don’t leave them unsupervised in the garden.
As with any bank holiday it’s always a good idea to be aware of your vets opening hours, just in case.
