We have 2 new additional classes starting on Sunday 24th April.
Find it fetch it (gundog beginners) The ultimate course for dogs who like to retrieve. The objective of this course is to channel the natural hunting skills of your dog so that you both have fun, and improve your dog’s obedience skills. Dogs coming into this class must be at least 8 months old, and should have successfully completed our foundation course or they have done basic training elsewhere. Your dog will learn whistle signals to sit and wait, and to retrieve dummies by sight and scent.
Fast Track Foundation (adult and junior) This course is for dogs that have had little or no training. It is not suitable for dogs with behavioural problems. The fast track version is ideal for experienced owners or for owners with limited time, it is a five week intensive course with a max of only 5 dogs in a class.
The foundation course covers a wide range of situations but by the end of the course your dog should be able to:
- Focus on you on command
- Come to you when called
- Sit, stand and lie down on command
- Be willing to be groomed, examined and handled by various people
- Cope with changes in circumstances and unusual events
- Feel relaxed meeting new dogs and people.
