Thank you for sponsoring our dog show at Martham Carnival, we raised almost £500 which will be put towards Mason’s vet bill. This poor boy suffered terribly, his elderly owner took him to the vets for his ear infection to be treated but the onset of the owners 
dementia meant that he forgot to administer the drops. It was some time later that GSDR we asked to rehome Mason and was immediately obvious that the poor dog was suffering. He was taken straight to the vets but the infection had been left untreated for too long, the only option was to remove his ear canal and outer ear. This surgery cost £1600 but he is now happy & recovering in foster care locally where he’s learning sign language. Mason is looking for a very special forever home with an understanding owner who can deal with the challenges which owning a deaf dog can bring.
