I am writing on behalf of all the team here in GSDR Eastern Region to thank you for your support. I know that your wonderful donation is not all that you do for local strays but we are particularly touched that you remembered our shepherds as well.
We do try to rehome them as quickly as possible and for them not to languish in kennels. But even so, some have to be there for far longer than we would like. Apart from this breaking our hearts for the dogs, it costs GSDR a fortune in kennel fees, however generous a discount we get. We are very grateful for help with these costs.
I want to assure you that every penny that is donated to GSDR goes straight to the dogs. The charity is completely volunteer run and all who work for GSDR, as volunteers, even contribute their own expenses to the cause. Some charities are giving others a bad name but I assure you that we are not one of these. Every penny of your generous donation was spent to ensure the welfare of our dogs.With sincere thanks, Ann
