Wasps are out in force this Autumn with many dogs being stung. A quick and effective treatment is vinegar so its worth carrying in your dog walking bag a sachet or two of vinegar (the sort you get in restaurants) and putting this straight onto a sting on the body. Stings to eyes and mouths are more dangerous so keep your vet emergency number handy. Its worth talking to your vet about carrying an antihistamine (like Piriton) and finding out the correct dose for your dog should it be unfortunate enough to suffer multiple or face stings.
